My Story
Widow, a delightful 1-year-old black and white Labrador Retriever mix with an infectious personality. She's a bundle of joy, full of sweetness and affection. Widow loves to show off her playful side, whether she's chasing after toys, running through open fields, or engaging in fun games with her human companions. Her energetic and fun-loving spirit is matched only by her loving heart, as she's always ready for a cuddle or a belly rub. Widow's playful antics are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face, and her affectionate nature makes her a loyal and devoted friend.
Widow is the perfect balance of fun and tenderness. Though she's still young, she's already shown that she's both gentle and friendly with everyone she meets, making her an ideal companion for families, individuals, and other pets. Her black and white coat adds to her charm, making her not only an adorable companion but also a lovable one. Whether she's curling up at your feet for some quiet time or bounding around with excitement, Widow's loving spirit is sure to steal your heart. Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each dog adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.
Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:
Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.
Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)
Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.
The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.
* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
