My Story

Meet Willow, a twelve-week-old, 15-pound Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. Willow was found scared and alone near a busy street, and despite thorough efforts to locate her previous owners, no one came forward. Now, she’s ready to find her forever family! At this young age, Willow is primed to soak up all the good dog skills she’ll need to become a wonderful lifelong companion. With the intelligence Border Collies are known for, she’s already making great strides in leash walking, sitting for treats, and potty training. Willow is eager to learn and would excel in obedience training or even agility sports. She will thrive in a home with experience in herding breeds and puppy training to help her reach her full potential. Willow is a Guardian Angel dog with an adoption fee of $400. Guardian Angel dogs are highly desirable and command an increased adoption fee.  This higher fee is used to defray the costs of caring for rescues with special needs, either medical or behavioral, or for those who are with us for unusually long periods of time.  In this way our Guardian Angels directly help our other rescues! Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, age- appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment by calling 602-971-1334.
