Willow

Meet Willow! This sweet faced girl wounded up as a stray and then taken to the local shelter in Houston. One of our volunteers met her and fell in love with her sweet demeanor. When a dog last 30 days at a high kill shelter that means she is perfect and has no bad behavior issues. But, sadly not one person had fallen in love with Willow so after 30 days of patiently waiting for someone to take her home she landed on the euthanasia list. So, we had to take her home! Willow is as sweet as they come! She is dog friendly and fostered with other dogs! She is a superstar and is crate & house trained. If Willow is not outside playing with her dog friends then she's inside curled up on the couch probably binge watching Netflix episodes. Her foster mom describes her as "an overall great girl" & we know its true! Willow is also fostered with kids, and you can usually find her sneaking in her human sisters room at night to sleep in her bed. She enjoys and loves sleeping in the kids bed at night! Willow is about 3 yrs old. The best part about adopting an adult dog is she is already fully house trained! But, she will still play and love some good long walks! She weighs a good 55lbs but the best part, she's fully grown! So we know she won't get any bigger unless she begs your for all the treats with her big beautiful brown eyes. Willow's journey from the streets to a loving home is a testament to the power of second chances. She's a gentle girl with a heart of gold.
