*****We are Good Catch Dog Rescue. The dogs in our care are fostered by either ourselves or close friends. We are in Texas, and we transport our dogs North because TX is flooded with unwanted dogs already. All of our dogs are vaccinated and on preventatives. Dogs older than 6 months are spayed or neutered. Our dogs live with us, not in boarding, and they are part of our family. Please visit our website to learn more about our family and our dogs. 3 little bitties came to us with their momma as owner surrenders back on December 15th. Mom is a Shih-tzu mix and pups look to have rat terrier in them. Osier and Lian are boys and little Willow is their sister.
They were born on October 27th and are now 9 weeks old and ready for a home of their own. They are microchipped, on preventatives and have had their bordetella vaccine and only 2 of the required 4 puppy shots that should be given every 3 weeks until 4 months old. They're too young for a rabies vaccine but at 12 weeks, that will also be required. We don't spay or neuter our puppies until 6 months old.
Osier is the biggest of this little brood at 3lbs, 10oz. He is playful, wiry and joyful. He loves wrestling with his siblings and will beg for treats if he happens to catch your eye. Toys are a must for him and his littermates as they spend all day toting them around and finally falling asleep on them. His brother Lian is feisty and adorable! He loves to play and is always eager to be picked up and loved on. Willow, the littlest of the 3 was born with a smaller front leg. She also came into rescue with an old injury to her left eye. Our vet gave her a good look over and prescribed antibiotic ointment for her eye and took x-rays of her leg. It doesn't bother her, but navigating on slippery floors can be tricky. She can't fully extend it so it's there as a bumper more so than a crutch. We've decided to not try and make any corrections since she's healthy and perfectly imperfect. Her favorite spot to sleep is on our shoulders.
These 3 will grow to be between 8-12 pounds. Mom is most likely bigger than Dad was and weighed in at 11lbs when she came through our doors. She looks to have some Maltese in her as well and is currently pending adoption.
We're looking for 3 separate homes for this little family. One with children over 10 who are familiar with handling small breeds (and puppies) and someone who is home more often than not as they are far too young to be left at home for longer than a few hours at this age.
These puppies will do well in an apartment living lifestyle and are potty pad trained. They do get some time outdoors in a pen together, but it's Texas and the weather is warm for December, these are not "outdoor" dogs as they are less than 4 pounds and too vulnerable.
We are seeking homes in and out of state and will consider adopters with a previous history of loving and owning a small breed as they have different needs and requirements from the larger dogs.
We only use trusted transport partners to safely deliver our puppies and dogs to their adopters.
Our adoption fee is $350 and an additional $300 is charged for transport out of state with a health certificate from our vet.
