My Story

Please contact Kallie Brennan ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Wonderful Winnie!! WINNIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Winnie Best Guess for Breed: Spaniel/Retriever Mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of 11/6/24 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 32lbs Gets Along With: Winnie does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog! We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested. Currently Living at: Shelter. Winnie needs a foster or forever home! Special adoption considerations: Because Winnie is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing Winnie in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Winnie is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet shy girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She's closed that chapter and is eagerly looking ahead to her next - the one where she once again has her own humans and is under her own roof. She would love to trot through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved dog. Right now she doesn't have enough experience in various environments and is shy. She'd love to have extra loving and patient adopters who help her gain that experience - and a friendly resident dog who shows her how to dog. Winnie has so much love and affection to offer - so much desire to be a loyal companion. What do you say? Will she be yours? What My Foster Says About Me: Stay tuned!
