Meet Winnifred—lovingly known as Winnie—a 4-6-year-old, 20-pound Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who is so loyal and loving. Winnie joined our rescue after being seen wandering the streets alone for months, but her spirit remains as happy and sweet as ever. Winnie is a joyful little companion who loves affection. She strikes the perfect balance between independence and affection—equally happy to entertain herself as she is to be your little shadow. She adores playtime, followed by cozy naps, and one of her best qualities is her clear communication when she needs to go outside. Winnie will need someone who is willing to work with her on her leash manners as sometimes she barks at other dogs or loud people passing by.
