Introducing Winston: The Low-Riding Lovebug with a Heart of Gold! Hey there, I’m Winston! I’m about a year old, 26 pounds of pure sweetness, and built like a corgi cosplaying as a tank. My ideal home? One with a mom (ladies, I’m a mama’s boy—no shame) and a fun-loving dog sibling or two to boost my confidence and keep the good times rolling. Bonus points if you have a cat—I’m totally cool with feline overlords and would love to be their friend. I’m the ultimate cuddle connoisseur, but I just need a little time to warm up and feel safe. You see, before I landed here, my siblings were my whole world, and being separated was a big change. But don’t worry, with a little patience (and maybe a few treats), I’ll be your most loyal, snuggly sidekick. House trained? Check. Leash training? We’re getting there! The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information. 2025 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals: Puppies under 12 months - $350. Dogs over 12 months - $250. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match! **Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as Pet Finder, and are no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
