Wolfie was picked up by animal control in a rural county we help. He was underweight and hadn’t been cared for. Despite his circumstance, Wolfie was sweet and gentle when the animal control officer put a leash on him. He was taken to the shelter and was going to be euthanized due to shelter overcrowding. One of our volunteers wanted to save him so she brought him into her home as a foster. Now, Wolfie is healthy and ready to find his forever person.
Wolfie was fostered by a dog trainer for 2 weeks and learned very quickly. He is great with all of the dogs at his foster home - large to small. He does well interacting with new dogs too.
Wolfie has gone shopping with his foster and he did fantastic. He was gentle with everyone he met, including a child with special needs.
Our vet estimates that he is 2 years old, and he weighs 45 pounds. Wolfie has been neutered, vaccinated for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
