My Story

WREN Breed Guess: Dachshund mix? Age: 1 Year Weight: 18 lbs Housetrained Crate trained Dog friendly            Meet Miss Wren! This adorable, short legged, little girl is full of personality. Initially shy, once she warms up and earns some trust, she is the most loving and affectionate little girl in the world! Wren is a favorite in doggy daycare with dogs of all sizes, and would enjoy a fun loving, playful dog sibling larger than herself in her forever home, as she does play hard. Wren is not a destructive dog but does like lots of toys and chew bones around. She sleeps in her little bed in her fosters bedroom at night until dad leaves, then it's up and under the blankets with mom.? Wren was abused in her previous home and will need an owner willing to give her space and time. She will need an owner that moves slow initially and let's her gain her confidence and trust. She will not be immediately affectionate and trusting. She truly is the sweetest little girl once she loves someone and She deserves her happily ever after. Home Requirements: Securely fenced yard at least 5 ft high. No small kids No cats Another playful and confident dog in the home. She is spayed,  fully vetted and HW negative. If you think you might be Wren’s perfect home reach out to soardogs.org to put in an app or ask any questions. Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation.
