Wyler

?COURTESY POST ? ?Here is my sweet, sweet Wyler. He is my son’s dog - who now lives in Michigan and will not be able to take Wyler anytime in the next 5-7 years. Wyler has been with me the last two years but my new job requires a lot more travel than I expected. Wyler is a very high energy dog - like a puppy! He needs a fenced backyard or an owner who will take him to the dog park at least once a day (2 or 3 times a day would be even better) to throw his tennis ball. He LOVES chasing tennis balls and is laser focused the instant he sees one. And he is FAST! Like bullet fast. Currently, Wyler spends a significant amount of time each workday in his crate. Probably the biggest reason he needs a new home. He just needs more time outside running around than my life allows. Wyler seems to be anxious - like a chihuahua - especially when two people are in the same room (or maybe it’s that we don’t have 2 people here who are consistent with him). Wyler is house and crate trained. He wants lots of love and attention and he is 7 years old as of September 6, 2024 (we made up this birthdate so we could celebrate his birthday every year). He currently weighs 27lbs. He barks at other dogs when he is taken outside to “do his business” (we live in a condo complex - lots of dogs) so the neighbors avoid us like the plague. Ironically, he does not bark at all at the dog park. Nor does he pay the other dogs much attention. Mostly he wants to sniff their butt then carry on with chasing his tennis ball. The handful of times he has been “babysat”, it was in a home with 2 other dogs and they all got along just fine. Overall, if he could live with someone who is very consistent with their expectations and has time to exercise him, Wyler would be much much happier. Contact is: Michelle Campbell [email protected]
