We found this adorable girl over the weekend wandering the street in Whittier, CA (current location is Glendale, CA). She seemed to be searching for food. No one we spoke to in the neighborhood has seen her before, and she was very skinny with bad skin issues. Another dog roaming loose also attacked her in front of us and she was also almost hit by a car so we took her and had her looked at by a vet. She does not have a microchip. The vet confirmed that she is an Australian Shepherd mix, underweight and has dermatitis due to a flea allergy. She is currently on medications to take care of that including treatment for fleas. The vet said that she is healthy, approx 1-2 years old and she has been spayed.
She is SUPER friendly with people and other dogs. Loves affection and being with people, and walks well on a leash. She does not bark.
