Meet Yeti: The Sweetest Senior Looking for His Forever Lap Yeti’s story is one of resilience and love, despite heartbreak. This 13-year-old sweetheart was found wandering alone by two of our longtime supporters. They immediately stepped in to help, got him scanned for a microchip, and contacted his owners. Tragically, they were told his owners no longer wanted him. It’s hard to imagine giving up such a wonderful dog simply because he’s older, but thankfully, Yeti found his way to us. His foster family has given him the care and affection he deserves, and we’re making sure he’s healthy and comfortable by cleaning his teeth, managing his arthritis with medication, and performing a simple neuter. Yeti is in good spirits and good health for his age, and we think he’s absolutely adorable, even if his puppy days are behind him. This senior boy is a total lovebug who adores cuddling and will happily sit on your lap for as long as you’ll let him. He’s low energy but still enjoys walks and does great on and off leash. He’s potty trained and will even give you a cute little bark to let you know when he needs to go outside. Yeti is also great with other dogs, cats, and people—he just loves having company around. Some of Yeti’s favorite things include: • Snuggling with his favorite humans • Car rides (he prefers the front seat, of course!) • Strolling at his own pace • Relaxing in a crate or playpen area Yeti may be hard of hearing, but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life.
