Yuki (bonded with Moxie)

Looking for a pair of lovable, snuggly companions? Meet Moxie and Yuki, a pair of 6-year-old bonded Chihuahua sisters who are ready to find their forever home together! Moxie is a bit taller and weighs 7 pounds and Yuki tips the scales at 5.5 pounds. These adorable sisters do everything together and are incredibly close. Whether they're curled up together in a blanket or playing with their favorite toys, they'll always be by each other's side. They are housebroken on a schedule, as well as pee pad trained, making them easy to care for. They are also crate trained and sleep soundly through the night with no accidents, often spending the day lounging in their cozy crate together. Moxie is the more vocal of the two, often talking to you with little barks and chirps, while Yuki is a bit more reserved but loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for cuddles. They warm up quickly to new people and won't hesitate to snuggle right up with youif you have a lap, they'll be in it! Both are great with cats and other dogs, though they prefer a calm environment and don't love it when large dogs invade their personal space. They would do best in a home with older children due to their small size. While they would love for you to be home all day to soak up all your attention, they also do well on their own if you leave the house for work, because they keep each other company. Moxie and Yuki are not leash trained yet, so their prospective adopter should be willing to work on this skill with them. They'd thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where they can enjoy outdoor time safely. They both know their names, and come to you when called, and will eagerly trot after you if you ask them to follow you. They also seem to enjoy going on adventures outside of the home and do great in a car. They love riding in a dog stroller, and will welcome friendly pets from anyone that walks by.
