This sweet girl was literally saved MINUTES from being euthanized at a high kill shelter. She was picked up as an injured stray. She had an old femur fracture that more than likely was caused by a car. She had kennel confinement for several weeks to allow it to continue to heal and she is now fully cleared from our ortho vet. and ready for a forever home! She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms, and is on heartworm & flea prevention. She does well with other dogs but does best with either male dogs. She is not an alpha female but when placed with one it does not work. She is great with children, as there are children in her foster home that she loves to play with. She has that Pete the dog from the Little Rascals patch around her eye and is adorable! She has NOT been cat tested. She is crate trained, not much of a " fetcher" though she will run after the ball, but more often than not will continue to run past it, lol. She has a great temperament, is the perfect medium size and weight for anyone looking for a canine companion. Zia is in Memphis.
