My Story

Are you looking to hire a life coach? Look no further. We have a 4-legged life coach instead that works for free. Ziggy has a zest for life, and he'll be on duty 24/7 for anything you might need coaching on. He's a 1-year-old Maltese mix who weighs 14 lbs. Ziggy starts the day by pumping everyone up with his contagious morning energy, like every good coach. You'll be up and at 'em and ready for the day. He is obsessed with toys, so plan on some play therapy sessions - for both Ziggy and you - whether you want to be inside or somewhere he can run and play outside. He goes bonkers for playing fetch with a tennis ball, and he likes to run fast, so throw it far! He's really funny, and he believes strongly in the value of laughter. Every life coach recommends throwing-arm strength and laughing, right? See, he's got this life coach thing down pat. Cuddling is an important element of a successful life, according to Ziggy's life coaching philosophies, and he likes to snuggle as close to you as possible. He is empathetic to human emotions, so if you're having a tough day, he'll willingly present himself as a source of comfort. He'll also listen to whatever is on your mind. Ziggy really enjoys being with other dogs too, and he absolutely adores big dogs. He'd do great with other dogs in the home or with opportunities for doggie daycare. His legs may be little, but he'd love to be able to stretch them somewhere he can chase that tennis ball, whether it's a fenced yard or a dog park area at an apartment complex. He knows many basic commands, including sit, come and stay. With that beautiful Maltese coat, he'll need to be brushed daily to avoid tangles, and he'll need regular grooming. Ziggy came to us with a congenital condition and had a perineal urethrostomy surgery. Because of that, he may be susceptible to urinary tract infections (UTIs), so you'll need to be familiar with the signs of a UTI in case that happens. Are you ready to emBARK on your life-coaching experience with Ziggy? He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $225.
