My Story

OBS requires an age minimum of 21, and vet history is essential. Application is required. Copy and Paste https://forms.gle/9679D5fdLiJB7fU79 Located in Rutland VT . Zoe is a 18-24 month old year old rescue pup from Texas who is looking for a permanent home in New England. Genetics testing say she is a mix of Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, and 10 other breeds. She is short-haired, spayed, and is up-to-date on all vaccines. Zoe is a favorite at daycare and spends 2 days/week there. She knows her basic commands and listens well. Loves - playing with other dogs at daycare and at the dog park, soft blankets and being under covers to sleep, going for hikes Likes - riding in the car, going on walks, training (she is very food-oriented), food puzzles, playing hide-and-seek in the house Dislikes - being restrained on the leash, separated from her owners behind a dog gate, other dogs walking by the house without being allowed to go outside to say hello, bicycles Ideally, you are a person or family with a fenced in yard in a non-urban setting. You can commit to her continued training. You are active and can help her meet her exercise needs. We would recommend no cats in the house, but Zoe has had good, but limited, experiences with babies and children, as long as they are already comfortable around dogs. Zoe would need time to acclimate. She would likely get used to having another dog in the house, but would need to receive her meals separately at first, as she can be protective of her food around other dogs.
