Zoe is an adorable small mix of cairn terrier and Japanese chin, who, at the age of ten, has recently found herself in the care of one of our amazing shelter partners. This sweet girl is in search of a peaceful home where she can enjoy her golden years. Although she hasn't had much exposure to children, she has never displayed any aggressive behavior and is friendly with strangers. Zoe gets along well with other dogs, both indoors and outdoors, making her a delightful companion.
One of the challenges Zoe faces is a habit of eating her own feces, which is something that can be addressed with proper training and care. She is crate trained and has learned to use potty pads effectively. The previous owner mentioned that the dogs were accustomed to a litter box setup, which included a potty pad inside. Zoe has been well-behaved in the house, and she enjoys spending her days outside while sleeping indoors at night.
If you have experience with this breed and are interested in providing Zoe, and possibly her friend Toby, with a loving forever home, we encourage you to get in touch with us! Your kindness could make a significant difference in their lives, offering them the comfort and stability they deserve.
