Zoe is a happy, affectionate, sweet and energetic, 11-year-old, 50-pound, female black and white Border Collie/Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Zoe gets along with everyone. Her real love is people of all ages (even babies), but she’s great with other dogs and cats.
She lived with her family since she was an eight-week-old puppy and has been loved and doted on for all these years. Sadly, the second child in the family has severe allergies to their dog … and Zoe needs to find a new home.
Luckily, Zoe is a dog park, doggie daycare, friendly, wonderfully socialized dog who will have many options for her future. She is beautifully trained, crate-trained, good in the car, good on walks, good in the yard … good everywhere kind of dog!
She is trained not to get on furniture, and trained to sleep on her own dog bed.
She is very healthy, spayed, vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. She comes complete with absolutely everything you need to care for her.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly fostering or adopting Zoe, please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting

She is currently being fostered in Chicago, Illinois.
